Bringing innovation in housebuilding to life
Working with one of the UK’s biggest housebuilders, our film explores how Barratt and MiTek are collaborating to shape the future of lower-carbon homes. Through interviews with the people driving that change, we tell a story of shared ambition, practical innovation and the value of bringing the right people together.
From testing new technologies to rethinking how homes are built, we helped make a complex subject accessible — capturing the expertise and personal motivation behind the journey towards net zero.
Great things are built together
This project took us on a huge journey — from the remote location of Skellefteå in northern Sweden, to Scotland, and across the Midlands in the UK. The travel and effort involved were immense, but essential to capturing the full story. Each section of the film was given its own distinct visual identity: from cinematic night shoots inside a factory, to forests in rural Sweden, and studio sequences in the UK.
Capturing the future of housebuilding
Filmed at Bellway’s Barton Quarter development, our film explores the technology shaping the next generation of energy-efficient homes. Working with one of the UK’s biggest housebuilders, we combined on-site footage with interviews with the people behind the project to tell the story of Plot 256 — a home designed with the future in mind.
From advanced ventilation to low-carbon heating, we brought technical innovation into focus through the people building it and the difference it could make to everyday life.
