This campaign for Butcombe was designed to feel spontaneous, authentic and shareable — a true piece of social-first content. By taking the beer to real people on the street and capturing their genuine first reactions, we created a film that feels fresh, unpolished in the right way, and built for virality.

The unscripted responses — surprise at the flavour, delight at it being 0%, and the natural humour in people’s comments — gave the brand instant credibility and relatability. Combined with upbeat pacing and music, the video is designed to stop the scroll, spark conversation, and show that Butcombe 0% is a beer worth talking about.

From busy streets and passing traffic to authentic reactions from Bristolians trying the new 0% brew, it was all about adapting, staying creative, and letting real people tell the story. The end result is a vibrant, social-first campaign supported by strong behind-the-scenes content that shows how it all came together.
